Our Staff

The Director coordinates and oversees all preschool activities and is usually present daily. Our preschool consists of four classrooms with an experienced co-teachers in each classroom. All staff are trained in First Aid and CPR, and screened for past criminal and child abuse history. Each staff member is required to pass a drug screen test. Staff also completes a minimum of 20 hours yearly of continued education in the early childhood field.

Our teachers have fantastic credentials and attitudes to train your children.

Curriculum and Program Philosophy:  The preschool uses Creative Curriculum along with a supplemental faith based curriculum which is aligned with Indiana Foundations. Our classrooms are arranged into learning centers encouraging different types of play and active exploration of the environment.

The teacher’s role is that of participant, facilitator, and extender of the children’s play and learning. Teachers encourage language, problem solving skills, independence, and literacy when opportunities arise through play. Activities are planned based on the Children’s interests and developmental needs. Literacy is incorporated into play activities and centers.

Through the year, we use a variety of activities to encourage and enhance core educational skills:
1. Fine and gross motor skills
2. Letter and sound Recognition
3. Recognition of numbers, shapes, colors
4. Literacy skills
5. Social skills

We have 4 classrooms ready for children. We offer M/W and T/TH AM & PM classes for our Preschool Class (Age 3 by August 1st) and M/W/F, T/Th/F AM & PM classes for our Prekindergarten Class (Age 4 by August 1st).

Our long term goal is to accomplish Level 4 Paths to Quality and be NAEYC accredited. We exceeded our Short term goal to be Level 2 this school year; we obtained Level 3!
