Thanks for the question!

The idea is that when you give it to God, you truly give it over, and so you can quit snatching it back to stew over yourself. Easier said than done, for sure!

Try this: when you find yourself returning to worry or concern, gently remind yourself that you have given that over to God and that you can move forward. Re-dedicate your control to God's control, and ask God if there is anything you should do regarding the situation.
